Prime Minister’s Advisor on Industry and Investment and Member of Parliament for Dhaka-1 Constituency Salman F. Rahman said, BNP is an opportunistic party. They are playing a silent role as we observe the Day of Mourning to protest the brutal killings of Palestinians. Many countries around the world have condemned the incident including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The US flag in Dhaka is also at half-mast today. But BNP is silent, fearing that America will be displeased with them, they are not saying anything. BNP is still hoping that foreigners or Americans will come and put them in power. He said these things in response to a question from journalists after the freshman reception and book distribution ceremony at Joypara College in Doha, Dhaka yesterday.
Criticizing BNP, Salman F. Rahman said that they had given the deadline for the absence of Sheikh Hasina’s government on December 10. Since then BNP has given many dates. BNP’s fake dateline will not work. We are in the Awami League field, we have proved that we are not leaving the field.
It seems that BNP will come to the elections under Sheikh Hasina. They have become flexible. It has already started to be said that Awami League will not be allowed to score in an empty field. You will see that in the end, BNP will accept defeat and come to the election under Sheikh Hasina.

Earlier in the morning, Salman F. Rahman inaugurated various projects of the local government engineering department at Benukhali in Agla union of Nawabganj and visited Tikarpur Sarvajanin Temple. After attending the function organized by Doha Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital in the afternoon, he joined the autumn festival at Latakhola Charjoypara Universal Temple as the chief guest. In the afternoon, he interacted with the Christian community at Bara Golla Saint Francis Xavier Church in Nawabganj Upazila.
