Content creator Ashraful Hossain aka Hero Alam got his candidature back by appealing to the Election Commission.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal and other Election Commissioners gave this verdict after hearing the appeal at the Election Building at around 3:45 PM on Sunday.Hero Alam went to the Election Commission (EC) to participate in the appeal hearing this afternoon.
It should be noted that Hero Alam filed an appeal on December 6 to regain the validity of the nomination paper. Hero Alam collected the nomination form from Bogra-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) constituency to participate in the 12th National Assembly elections. However, District Returning Officer and Bogra District Commissioner Saiful Islam announced the cancellation of his candidature due to not filling the nomination papers properly.
