Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that the nuclear power plant’s fuel should be cooled by pouring uranium on the heads of BNP leaders. Mentioning the names of some BNP leaders, he said, ‘Whoever jumps, I will pour uranium on their heads and make them cool. I will not cool you with a stick, I will cool you by pouring uranium on your head.’
Obaidul Quader said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a gathering in Gabtali of the capital today. Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League organized this rally. The rally was held by making a stage in the middle of the road. Traffic on one side of the Dhaka-Navinagar highway was completely blocked. Vehicles moved on the other side.
Speaking about the threat of BNP leaders’ agitation program, Awami League General Secretary said, ‘Two consignments of uranium have arrived. Putin (President of Russia) handed over to the Prime Minister. There will be a deadly bright environment in Bangladesh. Fakhrul’s internal combustion, Moinuddin Khan’s (Moin Khan) internal combustion. Rooppur will be closed, who said? We are saying that whoever wants to close Rooppur, we will pour Russian uranium on Fakhrul, Moin Khan’s head. We are some on the head of Fakhrul, some on the head of Gayeshwar, some on the head of Abbas, some on the head of Moin Ahmed (Moin Khan), some on the head of Rizvi Pagal…. Referring to the blocking of Dhaka by the BNP, Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said, ‘Fakhrul says Dhaka will be blocked in October. If they come to paralyze Dhaka, the people of Dhaka will paralyze BNP. If you come to immobilize, you will immobilize yourself.’
General secretary of Awami League also said to BNP, ‘When will you come, don’t give the date! Give dates, stop jumping, dancing, extravagance. won’t be good Jumping too much will worsen the situation. We are ready.’
Obaidul Quader said the word ‘Khela hoba’ to mean to attack the opponent at some stage of the speech in a recent meeting. Today again he said, ‘Voting will be held in January. Semi-finals in December, Quarter-finals in November. There will be votes, there will be games. There is no way but to play with BNP. The game will be against BNP, against Hawa Bhavan, against looting, against corruption, against vote stealers, against dictatorship. It will be played all over Bengal, all over Dhaka. Will play loud. Red card if fouled, yellow card if fouled.
Addressing Mayor Atiqul Islam on stage, Obaidul Quader said, ‘Dengue is stopping? Mr. Mayor, don’t bring fake medicine, bring good medicine. People are restless. You better run. It’s okay to run around. But hit the mosquito properly. People are in great trouble.’
Assuring that the people of the country will not have trouble eating, this government minister said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s sleep at night is forbidden by thinking about the people. How to feed, how to wear? Goods cost more. But a person died without eating? Sheikh Hasina is there for the people. Don’t let anyone starve to death.
