At least 500 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a hospital in Gaza on Tuesday night. Hamas has complained.
However,a spokesman for the Israeli army said that the cause of the incident was not known. The army is looking into the details.The Palestinian president declared three days of mourning.
A surgeon said the attack set fire to part of the hospital and many people were trapped.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization strongly condemned the attack on the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said initial reports indicated hundreds of dead and wounded.Meanwhile, the leader of the Israeli church said, ‘The bomb must be stopped now. There can be no argument for it.’
