Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Narsingdi after 19 years. There he will inaugurate 11 development projects at a cost of 16 thousand crores. After inaugurating the projects, he will attend the public meeting organized at Mosleh Uddin Stadium in the district.
On Sunday (November 12) 11 project inauguration and Prime Minister’s public meeting, security has been strengthened across Narsingdi district.
Around the arrival of the Prime Minister, there is a festive atmosphere among the local Awami League leaders and activists and common people. The district is decorated with banners and festoons. The entire Narsingdi has been covered in security around the Prime Minister’s visit. About 10,000 members of law and order forces are already stationed in Narsingdi to provide security to the PM. Apart from this, CCTV cameras have been installed in Narsingdi Mosleh Uddin Stadium and surrounding areas.
The PM will inaugurate Asia’s largest Green Ghorashal Palash Urea Factory at Palash at 11:30 am.
After the inauguration, the district administration said that they will come to Narsingdi Circuit House at 2:30 PM and take part in the lunch. After that, Narsingdi will inaugurate the remaining 10 development projects built online at a cost of Tk 47 crore 14 lakh 69 thousand 126 while sitting at Mosleh Uddin Stadium.
Industries Minister and Member of Parliament for Narsingdi-4 Constituency Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said, ‘Narsingdi is not outside the revolution that the Prime Minister has made in the whole country. He built South Asia’s largest fertilizer factory at Palash in Narsingdi.
